It is the responsibility of the Thomas County Amusement Association to plan, organize, and operate the annual home-owned carnival during the Thomas County Fair, creating a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for families and community members of all ages.

As an organization rooted in tradition and local pride, we oversee every aspect of the carnival—from securing and maintaining equipment to coordinating volunteer efforts, organizing ride schedules, and ensuring all safety regulations are met.

Our mission goes beyond just entertainment; we strive to preserve a sense of small-town spirit and community connection. Through strong partnerships with local sports teams, service groups, and individual volunteers, we are able to run a fully community-supported carnival that brings joy to hundreds each year.

We take great care to maintain the integrity and reliability of a home-owned carnival, where rides are locally managed, and proceeds directly support future fairs and community initiatives.
